Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum
When you go inside of this museum, you will be absolutely astounded by the many archaic displays that they have. What you are going to see our vintage RVs, many of which have not been produced for decades. It’s a place for people that do enjoy vehicles, even if it’s not a recreational vehicle, because everything there is so unique. Once you are done there, you can relax by heading over to a botanical garden.
Amarillo Botanical Gardens
If you have been to botanical gardens before, you are probably going to expect something quite different considering it is in the state of Texas. You can check out Music in the Gardens, and a multitude of different flower displays that are simply astounding. If you happen to be traveling through during the spring, this is the best time to go as things are starting to bloom. It’s a beautiful oasis in the middle of what can sometimes be a very dry state, a place that you will enjoy.
Visiting the botanical gardens, and also the RV Museum, will be some of the highlights of your trip. There are many other things that you will be able to do once you get to Amarillo. You can go down Route 66, or check out the Don Harrington Discovery Center. Wherever you go, you are going to find something unique and fun that will be great for both children and adults.
